Book of Eli Special Limited Edition SteelBook (German Edition).

The front of the box, with the SteelBook showing through - pity there is no protective plastic covering on the front of the box.

Back view, with a little window to see the hipflask/tin bottle through.

Hipflask/tin bottle with "The Book of Eli" detailing on the front.

Left: Base of the hipflask, stating that it is Stainless Steel and can hold 1 ounce.
Right: Lid/keyring - lid screws off, and has a small keyring to enable easy attachment to keys, or anything you wish really.

"The Book of ____" notebook, and artbook.

The entire set.

Inside of SteelBook, very plain.

Includes:
Book of Eli Horizontal BluRay SteelBook.
Miniature Hipflask/Tin Bottle.
"The Book of" Notebook.
Artwork/Storyboard Booklet.

Packaging/Features Review:

This is a very nice SteelBook, very unusual design as it is horizontal. It has great embossing on the cover, but the inside of the SteelBook is a tad plain.

Menus are all in German with no option of translating into English, despite a few special features having English titles. There was a pretty average amount of special features but I did definitely enjoy what was there.

The Artwork/Storyboard Booklet was in German, therefore couldn't read it, which was unfortunate, however the Storyboard images were excellent and I really enjoyed the overall look.

The notebook had a pretty cool design, with the option of putting your name on the front underneath "The Book of" to make your very own "The Book of... [insert name here]". However, being a collector, I do not wish to ruin it, therefore have left the space blank. The inside of the notebook is squared paper, almost like the maths paper you would get in school, but again - I haven't written on the pages.

And finally, the miniature hipflask. Very nice design, and has a keyring attachment so you could attach it to keys if you were to ever use it, but I feel that doing so would ruin it, therefore have left it in the box, on display.

Only downside of the collection is the storage compartment for the hipflask as it wriggles loose frequently and presses on the plastic protector, which could quite easily dent it and the lack of plastic covering on the front of the box to prevent the SteelBook from getting damaged..

Nevertheless, a great edition, and a purchase I am very pleased with.

Rating: 7/10.

Film Review:

I really enjoyed this film, because of the twist in events at the end and also the colouring of the film which gave it a more edgy feel and added to the post-apocalyptic theme. Definitely a film I'd recommend watching, and may be worthwhile watching twice, as once you have discovered the twist in the end of the story, you will want to go back and watch again to see if you can spot things earlier in the film.
